Where it Began?

If you didn’t know already, my name is Weronika. Before begining breeding I’d always think how marvellous British Shorthairs are as a breed. When the decision came to register a prefix/cattery name it of course had to be Warvellous!

Over the years I have learned a signinficant amount about the breed.

We love all colours and patterns hence why we breed a variety.

The goal was to produce healthy, social, quality kittens and that is what we continue to work towards.

We are based in Worksop, Nottinghamshire. Which is very central of the UK. We commonly get confused with being in the city of Nottingham but that isn’t the case. We are dual registered with GCCF and TICA as “Warvellous”.

We treat our cats like they are one of us, and put a lot of time into socialising therefore we do not cage. This does not include kitten pens, which we use in the early stages of kitten development to ensure kittens are safe in the first few weeks before they venture out to explore.

What to expect from us?

We do everything to ensure our kittens get the best start in life. When you take your kitten home it will be no eariler than 7 days after their second vaccination and you’ll take away with you the following;

  • GCCF/TICA registration
  • Minimum of 3 generation pedigree
  • Vet checked at least twice
  • Complete course of vaccinations
  • Precautionary flea and wormed
  • Microchipped
  • Scratch post trained
  • Food to last first 7 days
  • Favorite toys
  • Blanket with our scent
  • 5 weeks FREE insurance (all cats under the age of 1 year)

We do also update at least once a week on your chosen kitten this includes photos and videos on their progress, this continues right from reservation to the moment you pick up.

What we expect from you?

We expect our kittnes to go to homes that will continue to offer a quality diet and lots of enrichment. Just like we do.

We expect all owners to continue their insurance cover or purchase a new lifetime cover to ensure that the cat/kitten will always get the health care they require and that costs are a determining factor when a vet vist is needed.

We expect you to love them as much as we have done throughout the time we have cared for them.

In addition we expect owners to not let our cats and kittens roam the streets freely. These cats are not made to be out alone for multiple reasons, some being; they will most likely get lost or stolen, they are at risks of parasites, fleas, injuries as well as poison or abuse from the public. The list is long if you’d like to hear more as to why we keep our cats indoors feel free to contact and chat with us.
